The Tigers had great defensive intensity in the second half to pull away from a relentless Mayde Creek team. Savannah May had a great all-around game with 24 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 steals. Amira Layeni chipped in 13 points hitting three 3’s in the second half.
The Tigers close out the first round of district with a 5-1 record and will start the second round of district on Tuesday night at home against Taylor. Game times are 4/5/5:30/7. We need a loud packed gym of Tiger fans wearing red!
